🗑️ How to Delete Your Account
We're sorry to see you go! If you need to delete your Stocky account, please follow these simple steps:
📱 Step-by-Step Instructions
- Open the Stocky app on your device
- Go to Settings (usually found in the main menu or profile section)
- Scroll down to the bottom of the Settings page
- Tap "Delete Account" option
- Confirm your decision when prompted
⚠️ Important Information
Before deleting your account, please note:
- 🗑️ All your data will be permanently deleted - This includes all your inventory items,
categories, and photos
- ⏰ This action cannot be undone - Once deleted, your account and data cannot be
recovered
- 📧 You will stop receiving emails from us (including promotional emails if you were
subscribed)
- 💾 Consider exporting your data first if you want to keep a backup
📤 Export Your Data First (Recommended)
If you want to keep a copy of your inventory data before deleting your account:
- Go to Settings → Export Data
- Choose your preferred format (CSV, PDF, etc.)
- Save the exported file to your device
- Then proceed with account deletion
🔄 Alternative: Temporary Break
If you're not sure about permanently deleting your account, consider:
- 📧 Unsubscribing from emails instead of deleting your account
- 🔕 Disabling notifications in the app settings
- 📱 Simply not using the app for a while - your data will remain safe
🔒 Data Protection
We take your privacy seriously. When you delete your account:
- ✅ All personal data is removed from our servers within 30 days
- ✅ Your email is immediately removed from all mailing lists
- ✅ Any cached data is cleared from our systems
- ✅ Third-party integrations (if any) are disconnected
